Description

In this Build Project, you'll wear the hat of Business Intelligence Analyst and create a Report that should help the organization to get data-driven insights. Under the supervision of an experienced Build Fellow, you'll work on data preparation, analysis, and modeling. You'll become familiar with business intelligence and analytics (BI&A) techniques, methodologies, and tools like data mining, statistical forecast modeling, analytics methodologies, and foundations of programming in Python.

Prerequisites

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel: you should be able to use functions like VALUE, VLOOKUP, SORT, FILTER, and DATE. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL: you should be able to assign data types, use commands like CREATE, SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, DROP; and use SQL JOINS. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and key performance indicators (KPI’s). 
  • Other prerequisites: before the project starts, you'll need to have Microsoft Excel installed on your computer. Also, you’ll need access to Google Colab and SQL (SQL Server is preferred).
