Use Python, Excel, and SQL to create a tool that informs day-to-day business operations of a nation-wide supply company.
In this Build Project, you'll wear the hat of Business Intelligence Analyst and create a Report that should help the organization to get data-driven insights. Under the supervision of an experienced Build Fellow, you'll work on data preparation, analysis, and modeling. You'll become familiar with business intelligence and analytics (BI&A) techniques, methodologies, and tools like data mining, statistical forecast modeling, analytics methodologies, and foundations of programming in Python.
Get to know the Build Fellow and other students, ask questions about the project requirements, prepare your workspace.
Create a Proposal and Data Dictionary.
Apply Data preprocessing activities, such as data quality, data cleaning, data integration, and data reduction (Tools: Excel, SQL, Python).
Use Python to perform the analytics techniques and determine trends and dimensional correlations.
Create Data visualizations with Python to illustrate the findings (statistics, correlations, models, forecasting).
Fit Statistics and Create your Dashboard.
Build your report with the findings in a format that mimics a job interview.
Polish your project deliverables and present them to the Build Fellow and other students in the final group session.

Samuel has over 15 years of experience in the Business Intelligence field. His work experience includes fields such as Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, and Strategic and Business Planning Direction.He holds a Master of Science degree with a major in Business Analytics and a Master of Business Administration with a major in Project Management.
A fun fact about Samuel is that he can move his eyebrows and ears independently one by one.
