Description

Manufacturing always requires specialists who can lay out the most effective way to produce goods – and who can keep improving these processes in the ever-changing business environment. In this Build Project, you'll wear the hat of a Project Engineer and analyze CAD product design.  Under the supervision of an experienced Build Fellow, you'll produce a BOM, Time Study, Flowchart illustrating the manufacturing process. You will learn the ability to propose a more efficient process (less expensive, faster) for making that product. You'll become familiar with software tools like CAD, the process flow methodology, as well as manufacturing tools used in actual production. All this will happen in an environment that simulates the operations of a real Engineering team.
