Learn about the current landscape of cell-based cancer immunotherapies and how to propose an innovative immunotherapy approach that addresses an unmet patient need.
Cell-based immunotherapy is a rapidly evolving field that has revolutionized cancer treatment. In this project, you will have the opportunity to propose a theoretical cell-based immunotherapy candidate after reviewing the current industry trends. Under the guidance of an experienced industry specialist, you will learn fundamental concepts and processes relevant to the development of cell-based immunotherapy products. This is an excellent opportunity for early researchers to delve into the science behind cell-based immunotherapies and get exposure to relevant skills crucial for research-based roles in this field.
Let’s get to know each other and our career interests in this session as we begin this Build Project! In this interactive workshop, you will learn about your Project leader, your peers and the biotechnology – cell and gene therapy industry. You will also learn more about the project deliverables and the following workshops.
In this workshop, you will learn about various cell-based immunotherapies, including CAR-T, CAR-NK, TCR, and dendritic cell-based therapies. You will also gain insight into current clinical trial targets and processes involved in developing, manufacturing, and delivering these therapies to patients.
Through this workshop, you will understand the biology and molecular mechanisms of cell-based immunotherapies, including target selection and construct design.
You will learn how to explore the current landscape of approved cell-based immunotherapies, ongoing clinical trials, and company pipelines. Through this session, you will identify knowledge gaps that can be addressed by your proposal!
You will develop an understanding of the experimental processes, analytical assays, and industry methods used in manufacturing cell-based immunotherapies. Additionally, you will learn how to use the Biorender application to visualize the manufacturing process for your proposal.
You will gain an understanding of the clinical considerations and guidelines for cell-based immunotherapies, including FDA regulations. This knowledge will be essential when proposing your novel immunotherapy candidate.
In this interactive session, you will learn how to create a pitch deck for presenting a theoretical cell-based immunotherapy and deliver your proposal to an audience.
In this interactive session, you will present your proposals, receive feedback, and engage in discussions to demonstrate your understanding of cell-based immunotherapies.
