Introduction

My name is Syed Talal Hassan Rizvi, and I am a 41-year-old Computer Systems Analyst Fellow currently serving as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of US Operations at Nestosh US LLC. With 20 years of experience in the IT industry, my journey commenced from very humble beginnings. I started my career as a pizza delivery boy and then ventured into selling audio music cassettes, CDs, and movies on VHS, VCD, and DVD. Coming from a broken family with no clear direction in life, I decided to pursue a career in IT. I began as Computer and Network Operator and with sheer hard-work and self teaching soon promoted as a Network Administrator. I also had a teaching experience in the past and taught a class of high-school kids at a Technology Academy.

Before joining Nestosh, I served as CIO, CTO, and Director of IT at one of Pakistan’s largest conglomerates, Sapphire Group, which operates in retail and manufacturing and serves customers globally. My journey from entry-level positions to these executive roles took over a decade of hard work, dedication, and continuous learning. During this time, I honed my skills in various IT domains and leadership, which ultimately prepared me for these challenging positions. My career has taken me around the world, attending numerous IT conferences from Australia to Europe, Canada, and America, where I have expanded my knowledge and network in the field of IT.

Over the years, I have transitioned from IT infrastructure roles to specializing in software applications, focusing on ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft D365. My expertise spans the retail industry, particularly in fast fashion and lifestyle sectors, managing everything from manufacturing to Point of Sale (POS) operations, in-store experiences, and eCommerce technologies like Magento Adobe Commerce and Shopify Plus. Recently, I have been working extensively with Salesforce and its multi-cloud capabilities.
